General Introduction
This course is a compulsory core professional course for the Electrical Power Technology major. It is designed for trainees who have completed courses such as Electrical and Electronic Technology, Engineering Drawing, and Factory Power Supply and Distribution Technology, and who possess fundamental knowledge of electrical and electronic principles, basic electrical control theories, and computer-aided design skills, along with basic abilities in electrical diagram reading, mechanical drawing, and control programming. This integrated theoretical and practical course aligns with professional training objectives
and targets positions in the production and service sectors of the mechatronic equipment industry, focusing on the operation, maintenance, and technical support of electromechanical equipment. It aims to cultivate trainees' abilities to read and draft complex engineering drawings and to proficiently use EPLAN software for designing electrical control circuit diagrams. Additionally, it serves as a foundational course for subsequent studies in Automated Production Line Technology, PLC Application Technology, and Fundamentals of Industrial Robot Applications.

# Being able to possess a solid foundation in electrical engineering knowledge, which is a prerequisite for learning EPLAN electrical control design technology.
# Knowing the basic elements of electrical control circuits, including the structure, principles, and usage methods of major low-voltage electrical components such as AC contactors, current and voltage relays, time relays, thermal relays, control buttons, and knife switches.
# Knowing how to be familiar with the basic operations and interface of EPLAN software, and capable of performing electrical design tasks using the software.
# Being able to master the methods and techniques for drafting electrical diagrams, including circuit diagrams, wiring diagrams, and control diagrams.
