General Introduction
This course is designed for acrobatics majors, with a primary focus on cultivating trainees’ ability to perform "Gendou" skills. The course primarily teaches the technical standards,
systematic training methods, and safety protection essentials for performing individual or connected movements such as tumbling and handspring.

This Course is for
# Helping trainees master the technical standards for tumbling and handspring movements: breaking down the actions to accurately perform various "Gendou" techniques, identifying and correcting technical deviations and posture errors.
# Enabling trainees to develop coordination between movements in the process of "Gendou": understanding the technical principles of energy transfer between actions, achieving a stable transition of the body’s center of gravity during "Gendou" execution, and improving rotation speed and landing stability.
# Cultivating trainees’ safety awareness: mastering training assessment methods, correctly using protective equipment, and developing habitual responses for movement anticipation and joint cushioning.

# Being able to follow safety protection standards, correctly use equipment such as foam mats and spotting belts, and complete tumbling and handspring–type "Gendou" techniques.
# Being able to adjust landing step distance and hand push-off angle in accordance with technical standards, control take–off height and rotation speed during somersaults, and ensure stability of movement trajectory.
