General Introduction
This course is rooted in the multicultural heritage of multiple ethnic groups. It integrates the distinctive dance characteristics of the Dai people of Wenshan, Yunnan, the ecological aesthetics of the Hani ethnic group’s "Terrace Culture", and the biomorphic life rhythms of the Derung ethnic group. The course systematically teaches body posture and movement rhythms,
hand positions and footwork, prop handling, and comprehensive dance combinations. It aims to develop trainees’ physical coordination, stylistic expressiveness, and deep empathy for ethnic cultures, thereby enhancing both their diverse dance skills and their ability to preserve and pass on cultural heritage.
