General Introduction
This course is designed to develop students’ innovative thinking and practical skills in sponge city engineering.
It focuses on teaching the basic methods and techniques of planning, design, construction, maintenance, and evaluation of sponge city projects.

This Course is for
1. Helping trainees master the concept, significance, and primary technical measures of low impact development.
2. Helping trainees become familiar with the development process and basic procedures of sponge city projects.
3. Equipping trainees with the planning and design methods for sponge cities, as well as ecological watershed remediation methods.
4. Helping trainees master the concepts and design methods of green infrastructure.
5. Laying the necessary groundwork for mastering the key technical aspects in construction, acceptance, maintenance, and evaluation of low impact development technical measures.
