General Introduction
This course is designed for trainees in positions such as construction workers and geological surveyors in the transportation infrastructure industry. It addresses the challenges and high demands of geological evaluation in complex terrains and landforms, as well as the application of new technologies.
In collaboration with leading construction companies in the industry, the course has been restructured into project-based modules. The course aims to enhance trainees’ abilities to identify engineering geological conditions and address related issues, laying a solid foundation for the subsequent core courses in the fields of “roads, bridges, tunnels, and ports.”

This Course is for
1. Helping trainees understand the relationship between geological environments and engineering activities.
2. Equipping trainees with knowledge of the formation and classification of rock strata.
3. Enabling trainees to master common methods for assessing geological hazards and implementing preventive measures.
4. Enabling trainees to analyze the impact of engineering geological conditions on construction projects.
5. Helping trainees read engineering geological maps and compile geological hazard risk assessment reports.
6. Equipping trainees with the ability to apply the latest geological exploration and disaster prevention technologies to address complex engineering geological issues.
7. Laying the groundwork for trainees to develop a correct understanding of ecological civilization and engineering ethics.
8. Enabling trainees to develop skills such as systems thinking, dialectical thinking, and precise thinking, laying a solid foundation for the ongoing development of their professional abilities.
