General Introduction
This course aims to cultivate trainees’ capabilities in tunnel construction, inspection, and management. It primarily covers the fundamental principles and knowledge of tunnel construction technology, along with the skills for reading construction drawings, preparing proposals,
and organizing construction operations. Trainees will be equipped with the knowledge and skills to tackle practical issues at every stage of tunnel projects, including planning, design, construction, and management, building upon foundational courses such as engineering surveying.

This Course is for
1. Helping trainees meet with the job standards for tunnel engineering field workers, inspectors, and other related positions, as well as the standards for the BRICS skills competition in bridge and tunnel engineering, and the 1+X non-destructive testing vocational skill certification evaluation criteria.
2. Equipping trainees with the skills to meet these industry standards, cultivating a group of high-quality, versatile, and innovative “transportation craftsmen” for the new era—individuals who are dedicated, knowledgeable in construction, capable of innovation, and possess an international perspective.
3. Laying the foundation for development of professionals who can contribute to the advancement of the transportation industry.
