General Introduction
This course is a core professional course for chemical engineering and related majors. The course systematically explains the theories and methods of full life-cycle management of chemical equipment, covering planning, design and selection, installation and acceptance,
operation and maintenance, troubleshooting, and upgrading. It focuses on developing students’ core skills in modern equipment management, enabling them to ensure safe, stable, long-cycle, and economical operation of equipment in chemical enterprises.

This Course is for
1. Enabling trainees to systematically master a complete knowledge system covering early-stage management of chemical equipment assets, operation and maintenance, fault diagnosis and repair, spare parts management, and safety management of special equipment.
2. Helping trainees develop basic abilities in preparing equipment maintenance plans, inspection standards, lubrication plans, and overhaul schedules.
3. Helping trainees establish awareness of life-cycle cost control and safety management, laying a solid theoretical and practical foundation for future work in equipment management in chemical enterprises.
4. Being able to master key safety management requirements for special equipment such as pressure vessels, understand the basic processes of spare parts management, and be capable of assisting in project management for equipment upgrading and modification.
5. Developing a rigorous work attitude and a strong sense of responsibility, ensuring that equipment management activities meet both economic efficiency and safety and environmental protection requirements.
