1. Being able to explain the physiological and psychological characteristics of the elderly and identify environmental factors that affect their safety.
2. Being able to list daily life care methods for the elderly, summarize basic theories related to pressure ulcers and common urinary and bowel conditions, illustrate the significance and methods of pressure ulcer prevention, and describe the types and appropriate uses of assistive walking devices.
3. Being able to explain the psychological characteristics of terminally ill elderly individuals and their families, as well as the purpose of hospice care.
4. Being able to provide daily living care and basic disease care for the elderly based on their specific conditions.
5. Being able to recognize signs of choking and cardiac arrest and perform appropriate emergency rescue procedures, and and provide end-of-life care for terminally ill older adults.
6. Being able to perform routine nursing procedures, such as personal hygiene, environmental preparation, feeding and elimination care, mobility assistance, vital sign measurement, medication administration, basic therapies, wound care.
7. Knowing how to focus on the experience and quality of life of the elderly, show respect and care, and maintain innovative awareness.
8. Possessing a strong sense of service, responsibility, safety, and compliance, and demonstrating the ability to identify and solve problems in work.
9. Capable of demonstrating a diligent, responsible, rigorous, and practical work attitude, and working effectively with others through teamwork and good communication.
