General Introduction
This course aims to cultivate students’ professional skills in conducting scientific and standardized assessments of older adults’ functional abilities.
It primarily teaches the use of assessment tools, standard evaluation procedures, communication techniques, and methods for interpreting assessment results.

This Course is for
1. Familiarizing trainees with national standards, theoretical foundations, and core indicator systems for assessing the functional abilities of older adults.
2. Enabling trainees to master standardized evaluation procedures, commonly used assessment tools, and effective communication techniques.
3. Developing trainees’ preliminary abilities in conducting assessments, analyzing results, and preparing evaluation reports, thereby laying a foundation for related professional practice and further study.
