General Introduction
This course aims to provide students in civil engineering and architecture programs at secondary vocational schools with a solid foundation in professional knowledge. It serves as an important bridge between foundational subjects such as mathematics, physics, and chemistry and core
professional courses such as Building Construction Technology and Construction Measurement and Valuation. The course prepares students with the knowledge required for subsequent professional study and lays a solid foundation for future technical work in the construction industry.

This Course is for
1. Helping trainees master the classification, technical properties, quality standards, and application requirements of commonly used building materials.
2. Equipping trainees to select and use building materials scientifically and correctly according to project requirements, while developing their ability to apply materials in engineering practice and comply with relevant standards.
3. Enabling trainees to develop awareness of quality and safety, as well as a commitment to the use of green and low-carbon building materials.
