General Introduction
This course focuses on developing the financial management and decision-making capabilities of teachers and students in finance and economics programs at ASEAN universities, as well as corporate finance professionals. Aligned with the digital and intelligent transformation of financial management,
the course integrates intelligent technologies with practical financial management and decision-making. It emphasizes the development of core competencies in cross-border corporate financial control and intelligent financial analysis, aiming to meet the demand for internationally oriented and digitally skilled finance professionals in the ASEAN region.

This Course is for
1. Helping trainees master the fundamental theories of financial management, including the time value of money, types of annuities, and the risk–return trade-off, and understand how interest rate fluctuations in Southeast Asian markets affect the value of funds.
2. Equipping trainees with knowledge of financing requirement forecasting using the percentage-of-sales method, the calculation of the cost of debt capital, and the principles of financial leverage and operating leverage, as well as familiarity with the rules governing diversified financing channels, including local banks, government funds, and cross-border financing in Southeast Asia.
3. Enabling trainees to understand the core tools for project investment decision-making, including cash flow analysis and the NPV and IRR methods, grasp the key aspects of working capital management, such as accounts receivable collection and the economic order quantity model, and master financial planning methods, including budget preparation and DuPont analysis.
