Senior Lecturer Dr. Sharin Bin Ab Ghani

Ir. Dr. Sharin Bin Ab Ghani is a Senior Lecturer at Universiti Teknikal Malaysia Melaka, specializing in high-voltage engineering and transformer insulation. He holds a PhD in Electrical Engineering (UTM, 2019) and has published 50+ Scopus/ISI-indexed papers on dielectric materials and transformer diagnostics. With expertise in asset management and eco-friendly insulation, he has led research grants worth over RM1.2 million and industrial projects like transformer oil analysis. A Professional Engineer (BEM) and Corporate Member (IEM), he received awards including Best Postgraduate Student (UTM) and supervises PhD and Master’s students.
