Dr. Nor Asiah Binti Muhamad is a Senior Assistant Professor at Universiti Teknologi Brunei (UTB) and an Associate Professor at Universiti Sains Malaysia, specializing in electrical equipment condition monitoring, fault diagnosis, and advanced insulation materials. She holds a Ph.D. in Electrical Engineering from the University of New South Wales. Her research focuses on dielectric response techniques (e.g., polarization/depolarization current, dissolved gas analysis) for transformer insulation systems and gas-insulated switchgear diagnostics. A Chartered Engineer and active IEEE member, she has supervised numerous PhD and master’s students, contributed to Malaysian standards, and served as an editorial board member and guest speaker for international forums on high-voltage engineering and sustainable energy.
