General Introduction
The International Experts Sharing Meeting brings together distinguished experts and professionals from ASEAN and beyond to exchange insights on emerging issues and best practices across disciplines. This edition focuses on “S ustainable Architecture and Green Design.” As rapid urbanization and climate challenges reshape the built environment, architects and planners face increasing responsibility to create spaces that are environmentally responsible, socially inclusive, and economically viable.
This session invites participants to explore how innovative design strategies, green technologies, and sustainability-driven policies can contribute to more resilient and low-impact urban development. Through expert presentations, case analyses, and interactive discussions, the meeting fosters cross-sectoral collaboration and knowledge exchange. It aims to inspire participants to examine diverse sustainable design approaches, share practical experiences, and strengthen collective efforts toward creating built environments that support ecological balance, human well-being, and long-term sustainability.

This Course is for
1. University students and young researchers interested in exploring how sustainable architecture and green design contribute to environmental resilience, livable cities, and responsible development in an increasingly urbanized and climate-conscious world.
2. Early-career professionals, architects, planners, and sustainability practitioners seeking to understand practical approaches to designing, constructing, and managing built environments that prioritize energy efficiency, resource conservation, and environmental responsibility through innovation and global collaboration.
3. Scholars, lecturers, and researchers focusing on architecture, urban planning, environmental studies, engineering, design, and interdisciplinary fields that integrate sustainability principles, green technologies, and policy frameworks.
4. Globally minded participants eager to gain cross-regional insights on how different societies implement sustainable design strategies, adapt green architecture to local contexts, and address environmental challenges amid rapid urbanization, climate change, and technological advancement.
