Founded on December 2, 2025, the Wuhan Electric Power Technical College Indonesia Green Energy Talent Development Base is a joint initiative established by Wuhan Electric Power Technical College (WHETC), PT.CCEPC, and Politeknik Negeri Ujung Pandang (PNUP). 

As an overseas platform for international cooperation in vocational education, the Base represents a key step in advancing green-energy talent development, supporting Indonesia’s energy-transition process, and strengthening China-ASEAN collaboration under the “Belt and Road” Initiative.

The establishment of the Base focuses on cultivating high-level technical professionals for Indonesia’s rapidly growing green and electric-power industries. Its core areas of development include: external technical training, international curriculum design, industry-aligned talent cultivation, faculty and talent exchanges, workplace practice, cultural exchange, and multi-level cooperation between institutions and industry. Through these efforts, the Base aims to achieve shared goals in technical capacity building, quality improvement, and mutual recognition of skills.

Looking ahead, the Wuhan Electric Power Technical College Indonesia Green Energy Talent Development Base will continue to promote collaborative seminars, technical and vocational training, international program development, people-to-people exchanges, etc., keep building an innovative, industry-integrated model for green energy talent development with demonstrative impact across Indonesia and the wider ASEAN region.
