General Introduction
This course aims to cultivate students’ abilities in reading and producing standardized mechanical drawings. It primarily teaches the principles of engineering projection, the application of national standards (GB), and the use of modern computer-aided drafting software.
Students will be able to apply these principles and skills to engineering practice, forming a solid graphical communication foundation for subsequent professional courses and for undertaking technical work in mechanical design, manufacturing, and related positions.

This Course is for
1. Helping learners master the fundamental theories and graphical principles of orthographic projection;
2. Familiarizing learners with the basic provisions of the national standard for Mechanical Drawing and the representation methods of common parts, standard parts, and typical components and assemblies;
3. Enabling learners to proficiently read and produce part drawings and assembly drawings of moderate complexity;
4. Equipping learners with the ability to analyze and solve spatial geometry problems using projection principles;
5. Helping learners develop rigorous, meticulous, and standardized engineering drawing practices, and instilling a strong awareness of standardization and a spirit of craftsmanship;
6. Helping learners lay a solid foundation for spatial thinking and basic engineering communication skills to support subsequent professional courses and future job roles.
