General Introduction
This course is based on the application-oriented and skills-oriented talent cultivation positioning of higher vocational education. Using a Chinese-English bilingual teaching model as the medium,
the course integrates the latest cases and practical scenarios of international settlement to cultivate high-quality interdisciplinary talents who can adapt to the digital transformation needs of international trade and finance.

This Course is for
1. Enabling trainees to master the core rules of international settlement instruments, methods, and international conventions.
2. Helping trainees understand new models of international settlement in the digital era (e.g., digital bills, smart contracts).
3. Enabling trainees to independently examine documents under letters of credit, handle cross-border remittance operations, and prepare relevant documents in a bilingual environment.
4. Enabling trainees to use simulation platforms to process electronic presentation of documents and trade finance transactions.
5. Teaching trainees to handle settlement disputes in English and write business correspondence (CET-4 or equivalent).
6. Helping trainees build compliance awareness and risk prevention awareness, and comply with international financial regulations.
7. Cultivating trainees’ cross-cultural business communication skills and teamwork spirit.
8. Enabling trainees to adapt to digital transformation while developing lifelong learning and innovation awareness.
