General Introduction
This course aims to develop students’ professional competencies in the design, installation, and commissioning of electrical control systems. It is a core specialized course for the Mechanical Manufacturing and Automation major in higher vocational colleges. The course is oriented toward electrical installation and commissioning positions for intelligent manufacturing
production lines in the Greater Bay Area. It mainly covers the fundamentals of electrical control, PLC programming, state transition diagrams, and commonly used function instructions, while developing technically skilled professionals with an innovative spirit and mindset, high moral character, and strong professionalism.

This Course is for
1. Helping trainees select commonly used low-voltage electrical components according to control requirements.
2. Equipping trainees with the ability to explain the operating principles of relay control circuits.
3. Enabling trainees to analyze the causes of faults based on provided relay control circuits and fault descriptions.
4. Helping trainees design common relay control circuits for three-phase asynchronous motors according to control requirements.
5. Equipping trainees with the ability to use PLC basic logic instructions, step sequence control instructions, and commonly used function instructions to design common control programs.
6. Enabling trainees to debug PLC programs.
7. Enabling trainees to read and understand PLC control circuit diagrams for typical machine tools.
