General Introduction
This course focuses on developing students’ ability to understand industrial robot systems, perform basic analysis, and carry out standardized operations. As a foundational professional course for Industrial Robot Technology and other intelligent manufacturing-related majors, it follows the learning sequence of “Introduction to
Industrial Robots–Understanding Robot Structures–Perceiving the Environment–Understanding Control–Analyzing Motion–Operation and Application,” thereby laying a solid foundation for subsequent courses such as Robot Programming and System Integration.

This Course is for
1. Helping trainees understand the development, classification, components, and main technical parameters of industrial robots, and recognize robot structures, drive and transmission systems, sensing and detection systems, and control systems.
2. Equipping trainees to understand coordinate systems, pose transformations, and the fundamentals of robot kinematics, master basic teach pendant operations and typical programming methods, and develop awareness of safe and standardized operation, innovative practice, and continuous learning.
