General Introduction
This edition highlights "Engineering Wonders That Inspire Me". In an increasingly complex and interconnected world, engineering goes beyond technical knowledge and theoretical understanding. It becomes a powerful tool to address real-world challenges through creativity, sustainability, and human-centered approaches. From large-scale infrastructure projects to technological advancements and student-driven innovations, engineering wonders demonstrate how ideas can evolve into impactful solutions.
Through critical thinking, design processes, and collaborative efforts, engineers are able to transform challenges into opportunities that improve quality of life and support global development. Through presentations, case studies, and interactive discussions, this session invited participants to explore how engineering inspiration can come from both complex systems and simple ideas. The session also emphasized the importance of innovation, adaptability, and cross-disciplinary thinking in shaping future-ready engineers. Participants were encouraged to reflect on their own perspectives and consider how engineering can contribute to solving global challenges, particularly within ASEAN contexts and beyond.

This Course is for
1.University students and young researchers interested in exploring how engineering innovations and real-world applications can inspire new ways of thinking, creativity, and problem-solving, particularly for those navigating academic and professional transitions in a rapidly evolving technological landscape.
2.Undergraduate students and early-career engineering professionals who seek to understand how engineering wonders — from infrastructure projects to technological advancements and student-led innovations — can shape their perspectives, strengthen their aspirations, and prepare them to contribute meaningfully to society.
3.Scholars, lecturers, and practitioners focusing on engineering, innovation, sustainability, and STEM development who aim to examine how engineering solutions address global challenges, and how inspiration from real-world cases can be integrated into teaching, research, and professional practice.
4.Globally minded participants eager to gain cross-regional perspectives on how engineering innovations across different countries — particularly within ASEAN contexts — contribute to sustainable development, technological progress, and improved quality of life in diverse economic and cultural settings.
