In order to meet the diverse learning needs of overseas students, Guangxi University has created three international digital course resources based on the standards of construction engineering. The course names are "Introduction to Building Architecture", "Theoretical Mechanics", and "Civil Engineering Materials".

Through the study of these three courses, students can master the basic properties, technical standards, quality testing methods and key engineering application points of common civil engineering materials, understand the fundamental principles of theoretical mechanics, force analysis methods, equilibrium rules of force systems as well as solution ideas for the motion and dynamics of particles and rigid bodies, learn the design principles of building architecture, spatial combination modes, building construction practices and skills for reading drawings,become familiar with the matching principles for selecting various building materials, ideas for engineering simplification of mechanical models, architectural design codes and basic requirements of green building design, comprehend the collaborative application logic among mechanical theories, material properties and architectural construction design. These areas of knowledge will help students build a comprehensive basic knowledge system of construction engineering, lay a solid foundation for subsequent studies or work related to civil engineering design, construction and management, and create more possibilities for their future career development.
