In response to the "China-ASEAN 2030 TVET Flagship Courses Sharing Initiative" initiated by the Southeast Asian Ministers of Education Organization Regional Centre for Technical Education Development (SEAMEO TED), and to serve the human resource needs for international production capacity cooperation in ASEAN countries, Zhangjiajie Institute of Aeronautical Engineering, leveraging its professional strengths, has actively participated in the application and development of the project. Under the tourism management professional standard, the school has meticulously created two international digital course resources: "Tour Guide Business" and "Analysis and Application of Chinese Cultural Tourism Resources".

Through the study of these two courses, students can familiar with professional standards for tour guides and the knowledge required for the full tour service process, master practical skills in attraction interpretation, tour service procedures, tourist complaint handling; gain an overview and acquire core knowledge across five major areas: Chinese history and culture, architectural culture, garden art, culinary culture, and arts and crafts; understand the philosophical ideas and aesthetic principles embodied in China’s cultural tourism resources and accurately communicate and introduce the distinctive features of Chinese culture to others. These areas of knowledge will help students build a comprehensive knowledge system, lay a solid foundation for subsequent studies or work in the tourism management industry, and create more possibilities for future career development.
