This course provides a systematic explanation of the working principles, typical structures, and design methods of machine tool fixtures. The course aims to cultivate trainees’ mastery of workpiece positioning and clamping techniques, and to develop their foundational ability to design specialized fixtures for typical machining processes. It establishes a solid basis for future work in tooling and fixture design for mechanical machining.
