GTVTC was selected for the second phase of the national“Double High-Level College Plan.”It has been conferred numerous honors, including: National High-Quality Higher Vocational College, national model institution of transportation vocational education, the first batch of modern apprenticeship pilot institutions, the first batch of 1+X certificate system pilot institutions, the national transportation industry civilized organizations, and a pilot institution of higher vocational international exchanges and cooperation in Guangxi. For 22 consecutive years, GTVTC has been honored as an outstanding organization of employment and entrepreneurship work for vocational college graduates of Guangxi. GTVTC has 11 teaching organizations and 48 majors, covering 8 major transportation professional groups, such as road and bridge, automobile, logistics, traffic information, rail, port and navigation, etc. GTVTC has built a professional system with distinctive transportation characteristics, and has become National-Backbone professions, a demonstration featured profession and training base in Guangxi, and a research base for professional development of Guangxi vocational education. There are 2 model majors of national vocational colleges and universities, 6 model characteristic majors of vocational education in Guangxi; and there are 4 national model training bases supported by the central government, 2 national productive training bases, 1 national model virtual simulation training base, 2 model training bases of the Ministry of Transportation and Communications, and 8 Guangxi model training bases.

First-class scholarships cover full tuition and accommodation fees.Second-class scholarships cover part of the fees, with a remaining payment of 3,500 yuan per academic year required after the scholarship is applied.

Graduates secure employment in transportation and commerce enterprises such as road and bridge companies, automotive groups, logistics firms, and cross-border e-commerce companies.
